General terms of business
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern participation in the bonus points program of Hotel Löwe & Bär (hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel”). By participating in the bonus points program, the guest agrees to these GTC in their currently valid version.
2. Eligibility
Participation is open to natural persons who are at least 18 years of age. Participation is free of charge and voluntary. There is no legal entitlement to participate.
3. Registration for the Bonus Points Program
Registration for the bonus points program may take place in person on site, online, or in the course of a booking. Participation requires the provision of truthful personal data. The Hotel reserves the right to reject registrations without stating reasons.
4. Earning Bonus Points
(1) Bonus points are credited for qualifying purchases at Hotel Löwe & Bär, in particular for overnight stays and other services defined by the Hotel. (2) The number of bonus points credited is based on the currently applicable conditions of the bonus points program. (3) Bonus points cannot be redeemed for cash.
5. Redemption of Bonus Points
(1) Collected bonus points may only be redeemed in accordance with the currently applicable redemption conditions. (2) Bonus points may only be redeemed personally by the participating guest and are non-transferable. (3) Bonus points are valid for a limited period and will expire if not redeemed within the specified timeframe.
6. Misuse
In the event of suspected misuse, manipulation, or false information, the Hotel is entitled to cancel bonus points without compensation and to terminate participation in the bonus points program with immediate effect.
7. Amendment or Termination of the Bonus Points Program
The Hotel reserves the right to amend, supplement, or terminate the bonus points program at any time. Bonus points already collected will remain valid for a reasonable period, unless compelling legal or economic reasons require otherwise.
8. Liability
The Hotel shall only be liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG). Further information can be found in the Hotel’s privacy policy.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Austrian law shall apply, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of the Hotel, insofar as legally permissible.
11. Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
